Nueva convocatoria de EIC Accelerator para empresas verdes – Green Deal

Esta convocatoria específica de EIC Accelerator contribuye a implementar los objetivos de Green Deal. Su objetivo es fomentar la inversión de impacto mediante el apoyo al desarrollo y la implementación en el mercado de innovaciones que puedan inclinar nuestros sistemas socioeconómicos en un camino más sostenible. Los proyectos deben apoyar la implementación del Acuerdo Verde contribuyendo significativamente (y las propuestas deben estimar cuantitativamente esa contribución) al menos a uno de los siguientes objetivos de sostenibilidad: Energía limpia Una industria sostenible Construir y renovar Movilidad sostenible Biodiversidad De la granja a la mesa Eliminar la contaminación Se trata de una ayuda de 0,5 a 2.5M de euros y es una convocatoria dirigida a PYMEs, Start-ups, Spin-off establecidas en países miembros de la Unión Europea o países asociados. EIC Accelerator call for green companies – Green Deal

This specific EIC Accelerator call contributes to the implementation of the Green Deal objectives. It aims to encourage impact investment by supporting the development and market implementation of innovations that can put our socioeconomic systems on a more sustainable path. Projects must support the implementation of the Green Deal by contributing significantly (and proposals must quantitatively estimate that contribution) to at least one of the following sustainability objectives: Clean energy A sustainable industry Build and Renovate Sustainable mobility Biodiversity From the farm to the table Removing contamination It is a call for proposals from 0.5 to 2.5M euros and is aimed at SMEs, start-ups, spin-offs established in European Union member countries or associated countries. CILIFO prepara eventos deslocalizados en el marco de la EU Green Week 2020

10.03.2020. La Dirección General de Medio Ambiente de la Comisión Europea celebra Semana Verde 2020 en defensa de la naturaleza y la biodiversidad. La Semana Verde Europea tendrá lugar del 01 al 05 de junio y este año pondrá el foco en la biodiversidad, en el contexto de esta crisis ecológica más amplia. Según se informa desde la Comisión Europea, la semana exigirá “una acción urgente, explorará posibles vías para el cambio y examinará cómo una variedad de políticas de la UE como el Acuerdo Verde Europeo puede ayudar a proteger, restaurar y gestionar de manera sostenible la naturaleza, dejando espacio para que se recupere y prospere”. Aunque las fechas oficiales 01 de junio al 05 de junio del 2020, la Comisión Europea acepta eventos “deslocalizados/asociados” en el marco de la Green Week desde el 4 de mayo hasta el 14 de junio, 2020. En este sentido, el Proyecto CILIFO estará presente en la Semana Verde Europea a través de algunos de sus beneficiarios, como la Fundación Finnova, la Universidad de Cádiz o la Universidad de Córdoba. 25 de mayo 2020 – Sevilla – Proyecto CILIFO. Seminario (I) sobre fuentes de financiación comunitarias para proyectos con soluciones innovadoras en materia de agua para la prevención y extinción de incendios forestales; y protección de la biodiversidad. Seminario (II) sobre fuentes de financiación comunitarias para proyectos con soluciones innovadoras para la prevención y extinción de incendios forestales; y protección de la biodiversidad. Se expondrán buenas prácticas: el Centro CILIFO; y aplicaciones de vehículos aéreos no tripulados para la extinción y prevención de incendios forestales. Seminario (III) sobre fuentes de financiación comunitarias para proyectos con soluciones innovadoras para la prevención y extinción de incendios forestales; y protección de la biodiversidad. Durante la jornada se presentará la nueva edición de los Firefighting Start Up Europe Awards 2020.Colaboran: Fundación Finnova y Universidad de Córdoba. Además, se está preparando otro evento, que pronto contará con confirmación oficial: 22 de mayo 2020 – Vilamarxant (Valencia)– Seminario sobre la financiación de la UE para proyectos innovadores de lucha contra los incendios forestales y protección de la biodiversidad: Vilamarxant como antena del proyecto CILIFO (Firefighting Open Innovation Lab) y presentación de la nueva edición de los Firefighting Startup Europe Awards (SEUA) 2020. CILIFO prepares Partner Events around Europe within the framework of EU Green Week 2020

10.03.2020. The European Commission’s Directorate-General for the Environment is celebrating Green Week 2020 in defense of nature and biodiversity. European Green Week will take place from 01-05 June and this year will focus on biodiversity, in the context of this wider ecological crisis. According to the European Commission, the week will call for «urgent action, explore possible pathways for change and examine how a range of EU policies such as the European Green Deal can help protect, restore and sustainably manage nature, leaving space for it to recover and thrive». May 25th, 2020 – Seville – CILIFO Project. Seminar (I) on EU funding sources for projects with innovative water solutions for the prevention and extinction of forest fires; and protection of biodiversity. The beneficiary Finnova will be supported by GoHub, Sevilla Futura and the beneficiaries of the CILIFO project. June 2nd, 2020 – Cadiz – CILIFO Project. Seminar (II) on EU funding sources for projects with innovative solutions for forest fire prevention and extinction; and biodiversity protection. Good practices will be presented: the CILIFO Centre; and applications of unmanned aerial vehicles for the extinction and prevention of forest fires. During the day, the new edition of the Firefighting Start Up Europe Awards 2020 will be presented too. Collaborators: Finnova Foundation and the University of Cadiz. La Fundación ONCE organiza una jornada de sensibilización sobre las emergencias en el entorno forestal en Évora

09.03.2020. La Fundación ONCE, socio del proyecto CILIFO, organiza una nueva jornada de sensibilización, que se celebrará en Évora, pero según las recomendaciones internacionales sobre el Coronavirus (COVID-19), se aplaza a una fecha por definir. La Universidad de Évora colabora, junto a otros socios del proyecto, con este evento desarrollado por la Fundación ONCE, que bajo el lema “Rompiendo barreras ante emergencias en el entorno forestal” está dirigido a todos los agentes y entidades orientados a la gestión de emergencias, así como para aquéllos colectivos y personas cuyas viviendas o urbanizaciones entran en contacto con espacios forestales. El evento tendrá lugar en el Auditorio de la Dirección Regional de Educación de Évora. La cita será en dos sesiones: a las 09.30 horas y a las 12:30, día por definir. Finnova y la Universidade de Évora presentan CILIFO-CONECTA como propuesta a la convocatoria Empleaverde 2020 de la Fundación Biodiversidad

El jueves 17 de febrero 2020 se presentó CILIFO-CONECTA como propuesta para consolidar y mejorar las competencias del ecosistema emprendedor de Andalucía, Valencia y Castilla y León Dentro de las actividades de sostenibilidad del proyecto CILIFO, la Fundación Finnova, junto con el resto de los beneficiarios, está trabajando en buscar fuentes de financiación alternativas. En este sentido, a través de Finnova, CILIFO se presentó a la convocatoria CONECTA del programa Empleaverde 2020 de la Fundación Biodiversidad, con el apoyo de otros beneficiarios de CILIFO, como la Universidade de Évora. CILIFO-CONECTA tiene la finalidad de consolidar y mejorar las competencias del ecosistema emprendedor de Andalucía, Valencia y Castilla y León a través de acciones formativas en materia de emprendimiento verde y acciones de intercambios de buenas prácticas y conexión con el ecosistema emprendedor europeo. En este sentido, se hará la conexión con Bélgica, Portugal e Italia, donde se podrá poner en contacto a los emprendedores españoles con las instituciones europeas y emprendedores belgas y europeos. Entre los tres países europeos destaca el papel de Portugal, donde se encontrará a la Universidade de Évora (entidad beneficiaria del proyecto CILIFO) como una de las Entidades Socias del proyecto. El proyecto tendrá un enfoque medioambiental transversal que haga posible impulsar y consolidar los procesos, productos y servicios, en el ámbito de la adaptación y mitigación al cambio climático, sobre todo en el sector de lucha contra incendios forestales. Esta convocatoria se focaliza en proyectos para mejorar las competencias de personas emprendedoras residentes en España mediante el aprendizaje mutuo con otros actores del ecosistema de emprendimiento europeo. La subvención busca impulsar la sostenibilidad de las actividades económicas en todos los sectores, promoviendo la transición justa hacia una economía baja en carbono y circular, integrando la biodiversidad en la gestión y procesos empresariales y haciendo un uso más eficiente de los recursos naturales.  

Finnova and Universidad de Évora present CILIFO-CONECTA as a proposal for Empleaverde 2020 within the call by Fundación Biodiversidad

CILIFO-CONECTA was presented on Thursday 17th February 2020 as a proposal to consolidate and improve the entrepreneur ecosystem’s skills in Andalusia, Valencia and Castilla y León Among CILIFO’s sustainability activities, Finnova Foundation and the rest of the beneficiaries are making efforts to look for alternative ways for funding. In fact, CILIFO applied for the CONECTA call from the Empleaverde 2020 programme (Fundación Biodiversidad) through Finnova, thanks to the support of other beneficiaries from CILIFO, like Universidad de Évora. The aim of CILIFO-CONECTA is to consolidate and improve the entrepreneur ecosystem’s skills in Andalusia, Valencia and Castilla y León through training in the field of green entrepreneurship, by exchanging good practices and connecting with the European entrepreneur ecosystem. This connection will take in Belgium, Portugal and Italy, where Spanish entrepreneurs will be put in contact with European institutions and Belgian and European entrepreneurs. Within these three European countries is important to underline Portugal’s role, as one of its universities, Universidad de Évora, will be one of the project’s partners. The project will have a transversal environmental approach, that will boost and consolidate processes, products and services in the domain of adapting and fighting against climate change, specially focusing on the fight against forest fires. This call is focused on projects that improve entrepreneur’s skills that live in Spain through mutual learning with other stakeholders that are part of the European entrepreneur ecosystem. The fund aims to boost sustainability of economic activities in every sector, moving towards a lower carbon and circular economy. This should be done by including biodiversity in the administration and processes of enterprises and by making use of natural resources in a more efficient way.

El Wex Global 2020 ofrece ideas innovadoras para un mundo más sostenible

El Wex Global Water & Energy  Exchance  se celebró en el Hotel Palace de Valencia el pasado martes, 3 de marzo del 2020. En este congreso intervino el Director General de la Fundación Finnova, Juan Manuel Revuelta, para dar a conocer la labor que desde la incubadora/aceleradora que fundación está impulsando desde el proyecto (“Firefighting Open Innovation Lab Cilifo”). Este congreso es uno de los eventos internacionales de referencia en los sectores de agua y energía que permite crear contactos y relaciones con otras personas de negocios. El objetivo de Wex Global es proporcionar soluciones innovadoras a los desafíos y necesidades de las empresas en el ciclo integral del agua. Además, este evento permitió enriquecer el “Catálogo de tecnologías innovadoras” que comparte el Centro Ibérico para la Investigación y Lucha contra Incendios Forestales (CILIFO) en sus actuaciones de prevención y extinción de incendios forestales. En este tipo de evento se presenta a CILIFO con una imagen de consorcio y donde todos los socios están representados a través de los materiales de comunicación que se han diseñado en el CILIFO.

Wex Global 2020 provides innovative ideas for a more sustainable world

The Wex Global Water & Energy Exchance was held at the Palace Hotel in Valencia last Tuesday, March 3rd, 2020. The General Director of the Finnova Foundation, Juan Manuel Revuelta, took part in this congress to present the work that the foundation is promoting from the project («Firefighting Open Innovation Lab Cilifo»). This congress is one of the international reference events in the water and energy sectors that allows the creation of contacts and relationships with other business people. The objective of Wex Global is to provide innovative solutions to the challenges and needs of companies in the integral water cycle. In addition, this event allowed for the enrichment of the «Catalogue of Innovative Technologies» shared by the Iberian Centre for Research and Fight against Forest Fires (CILIFO) in its forest fire prevention and extinguishing activities. In this type of event, CILIFO is presented with a consortium image and where all partners are represented through the communication materials that have been designed in CILIFO.

The next EU LIFE Information and Networking day will be online, as a precaution, due to Coronavirus

19.03.2020. The European Commission is organising a Virtual Information Day on the LIFE 2020 call for project proposals. Due to the outbreak of coronavirus, as a precautionary measure, this event will now be a virtual conference, on 30 April 2020. The event is open to potential applicants submitting project proposals on green technology, nature protection and climate action. Centro Ibérico para la Investigación y Lucha contra Incendios Forestales (CILIFO) will be present, through the Finnova Foundation, at the next LIFE event as a project proposal on green technology, nature protection and climate action. According to information on the website, the information session on the 2020 LIFE call will cover significant changes in the programme compared to previous years.
