Los técnicos de Prevención Social de Infoca preparan el lanzamiento de la actividad de sensibilización del CILIFO
10.02.2020. El coordinador de la Actividad de Sensibilización del proyecto CILIFO convocó a los técnicos de INFOCA el pasado viernes 7 de febrero. El CEDEFO de Carcabuey (Córdoba) acogió el pasado viernes, 7 de febrero 2020, a los técnicos de prevención social del Dispositivo para la Prevención y Extinción de Incendios Forestales de Andalucía (INFOCA), convocados por el coordinador de la Actividad de Sensibilización del proyecto CILIFO, Antonio Maldonado. En el encuentro se preparó el lanzamiento de las acciones que se proponen en la Actividad de Sensibilización, véase materiales divulgativos, campañas o eventos, entre otras, de las que se irá informando puntualmente. El CILIFO (Centro Ibérico para la Investigación y Lucha contra los Incendios Forestales) es un proyecto aprobado por el Programa Interreg POCTEP (2014-2020) España-Portugal, el cual pertenece al Objetivo Temático 5 del Programa, que promueve la adaptación al cambio climático en todos los sectores. Responde a la prioridad de inversión, respecto al Programa POCTEP, 5B: Fomento de la inversión para abordar los riesgos específicos y la garantía de adaptación frente a las catástrofes y desarrollo de sistemas de gestión de catástrofes.
The Social Prevention technicians of Infoca prepare CILIFO’s awareness-raising activity launching
10.02.2020. The coordinator of the Awareness Raising Activity of the CILIFO project convened the social prevention technicians of Infoca last Friday 7th of February. CEDEFO in Carcabuey (Córdoba) welcomed last Friday, 7th of February, the social prevention technicians of Infoca, called by the coordinator of the Awareness Activity of the CILIFO project, Antonio Maldonado. During the meeting, the launch of the actions proposed in the awareness activity was prepared, see informative materials, campaigns or events, among others, which will be informed in due course. CILIFO (Iberian Centre for Research and Fight against Forest Fires) is a project approved by the Interreg POCTEP (2014-2020) Spain-Portugal Programme, which belongs to the Thematic Objective 5 of the Programme, which promotes adaptation to climate change in all sectors. It responds to the investment priority, with respect to the POCTEP Programme, 5B: Promotion of investment to address specific risks and guarantee adaptation to disasters and development of disaster management systems.
Las PYMES con dimensión europea recibirán las claves para mejorar su competitividad
06.02.2020. La EBN innovation network organiza un seminario para presentar las PYMES de la Unión Europea a los socios potenciales en los países objetivo. El próximo martes, 11 de febrero, la EBN innovation network organiza un seminario web para presentar la segunda convocatoria Innowwide de proyectos de evaluación de la viabilidad. Se trata de una oportunidad de financiación que proporciona a las PYMES europeas una ventaja en los mercados objetivo fuera de Europa. El seminario web proporcionará información práctica a las empresas PYME europeas y a los posibles asociados en materia de investigación y desarrollo de terceros países sobre la convocatoria abierta de Innowwide. Además, el webinar tiene la finalidad de conectar con las organizaciones y programas de apoyo empresarial interesados en seguir difundiendo esta oportunidad con sus redes, y poder presentar las PYMES de la Unión Europea a los socios potenciales en los países objetivo. SMEs with a European dimension will receive the keys to improve their competitiveness
06.02.2020. The EBN innovation network organizes a seminar to introduce SMEs in the European Union to potential partners in the target countries. Next Tuesday, 11th of February, the EBN innovation network organizes a webinar to present the second Innowwide call for feasibility assessment projects. This is a financing opportunity that gives European SMEs an advantage in target markets outside Europe. The webinar will provide practical information to European SME companies and potential partners in the field of research and development of third countries on the open call for Innowwide. In addition, the webinar aims to connect with organizations and business support programs interested in continuing to spread this opportunity with their networks, and to be able to present SMEs in the European Union to potential partners in the target countries. More information: The Innowwide program helps innovative SMEs to access new international markets by financing feasibility assessment projects that will be deployed in cooperation with local stakeholders around the world. The Second Innowwide Call for the submission of applications to the VAP (Feasibility Assessment Projects), opened on January the 15th and will close on March the 31st. Participantes Pequeñas empresas innovadoras, tanto personas jurídicas como empresas individuales, que tengan sede social o establecimiento de producción ubicado en la Comunitat Valenciana. Con una antigüedad inferior a 5 años en el momento de presentar la solicitud. Tipo de ayuda Subvención de hasta un 100% de los costes subvencionables del proyecto. El Firefighting Open Innovation Lab como ejemplo de innovación en unas jornadas de emprendimiento para jóvenes
05.02.2020. Ayer, día 4 de febrero de 2020 se celebró en la Embajada de España en Bruselas una jornada sobre Formación, Empleo y Emprendimiento Joven, organizada por la Fundación Finnova. El Director General de la Fundación Finnova, beneficiaria del proyecto CILIFO (Centro Ibérico para la Investigación y Lucha contra los Incendios Forestales), Juan Manuel Revuelta, participó en una jornada fundada por la propia organización sobre Formación, Empleo y Emprendimiento Joven, el 4 de febrero de 2020. El evento, que tuvo lugar en el Espacio LAB de la Embajada Española en Bruselas, se hizo con el objetivo de acercar a las nuevas generaciones los programas de carácter privado que dan apoyo a jóvenes, para que puedan conocer de primera mano el trabajo que se está haciendo desde las diferentes organizaciones. La Fundación Finnova organizó el evento, dirigido a jóvenes españoles residentes en Bélgica, con la Embajada de España y con el apoyo de Cámara España. El Centro Ibérico para la Investigación y Lucha contra los Incendios Forestales fue uno de los proyectos de emprendimiento, autoempleo y retorno del talento, expuesto como ejemplo de creación de empleo por el director de Finnova. Actualmente, el desempleo juvenil ha alcanzado cotas más que preocupantes. La Unión Europea y los gobiernos de los distintos países miembros han puesto en marcha medidas para tratar de solucionar el problema a través de entidades como el Fondo Social Europeo y la Comisión Europea. Además, multitud de gobiernos autonómicos y municipales como las Diputaciones han llevado a cabo acciones que pueden ser un ejemplo de buenas prácticas para combatir el desempleo de los jóvenes. La Unión Europea tiene el compromiso de crear más y mejores empleos y de contribuir a una sociedad más inclusiva. Estos objetivos constituyen el núcleo de la estrategia Europa 2030, que busca generar un crecimiento inteligente, sostenible e inclusivo en la UE. Además de las medidas promovidas por las instituciones europeas o por parte de gobiernos regionales y municipales, también existen programas de carácter privado, promovidos por diferentes organizaciones que tienen como objetivo el apoyo a los jóvenes y la lucha contra el desempleo a través del emprendimiento.
The Firefighting Open Innovation Lab as an example of innovation in entrepreneurship days for young people
05.02.2020. On February 4, 2020, a conference on Training, Employment and Young Entrepreneurship was organized at the Spanish Embassy in Brussels, by the Finnova Foundation. The General Director of the Finnova Foundation, a beneficiary of the CILIFO project (Iberian Center for Research and Fight against Forest Fires), Juan Manuel Revuelta, participated in a day founded by the organization on Training, Employment and Young Entrepreneurship, on February 4th, 2020. The event, which took place in the LAB Space of the Spanish Embassy in Brussels, was held with the aim of bringing the private programs that support young people to new generations so that they can get to know first-hand the work that is being done from the different organizations. Finnova Foundation organized the event, aimed at Spanish youngsters residing in Belgium, in collaboration with the Spanish Embassy and the support of the Spanish Chamber. The Iberian Center for Research and Fight against Forest Fires was one of the projects of entrepreneurship, self-employment and return of talent, presented as an example of job creation by the director of Finnova. Currently, youth unemployment has reached more than worrying levels. The European Union and the governments of the different member countries have implemented measures to try to solve the problem through entities such as the European Social Fund and the European Commission. In addition, many autonomous and municipal governments such as the local deputies have carried out actions that can be an example of good practices to combat youth unemployment. The European Union is committed to creating more and better jobs and contributing to a more inclusive society. These objectives constitute the core of the Europe 2030 strategy, which seeks to generate smart, sustainable and inclusive growth in the EU. In addition to the measures promoted by European institutions or by regional and municipal governments, there are also private programs, promoted by different organizations that aim to support young people and the fight against unemployment through entrepreneurship.

CILIFO is preparing its participation in the Green Week 2020
Finnova Foundation, beneficiary of the CILIFO project, is preparing the candidacy for the participation of CILIFO and its Firefighting Open Innovation Lab in the Green Week. For this, it will count with the collaboration of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Sustainable Development of the Andalusia Regional Government, the main beneficiary of CILIFO. The Green Week 2020, organized by the European Union, will focus on nature and biodiversity. All around the world, biodiversity is disappearing as a result of the unsustainability of much of human activities. This loss is closely related to climate change, which is altering the ecosystems that sustain life on Earth, with devastating consequences for the well-being and prosperity of human beings. Although the situation is extremely serious, there is still hope. During this event, possible ways of change will be explored, and EU policies will be examined, such as the European Green Agreement, that can help protect, restore and manage nature in a sustainable way, leaving room for recovery and prosperity. This year’s Green Week will be a milestone on the road to COP15-CBD (“15th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties of United Nations to the Convention on Biological Diversity”) in Kunming, China, in October 2020, where World leaders will adopt a new 10-year action plan to combat climate change. In this sense, CILIFO (Iberian Center for Research and Forest Firefighting), as a project that seeks to adapt and mitigate climate change, will organize a training action focused on raising European funds for the mitigation and adaptation of climate change. CILIFO is a project approved by the Interreg POCTEP Program (2014-2020) Spain-Portugal, which is part of the Thematic Objective 5 of the Program, focused on promoting adaptation to climate change in all sectors. Within CILIFO there is the Firefighting Open Innovation Lab, accelerator and incubator whose objective is to collect technologies and entrepreneurs in the area of fighting against climate change and, specifically, firefighting.
